Matt Covey will begin his service as Head of Chattanooga Christian School in July 2024. Originally from Iowa, Matt graduated from the University of Sioux Falls with a BA in History/Secondary Education. He also holds a Master of Educational Leadership, Master of Early Literacy, and Educational Specialist/Superintendent degree from the University of Sioux Falls. Matt has 24 years of Christian education experience serving as a teacher, coach, principal, and head of school. His Christian school leadership experience includes serving as the Elementary Principal at Sioux Falls Christian in Sioux Falls, SD for 14 years, and most recently, as the Head of School at Denver Christian in Denver, CO for five years. Matt and his wife, Charissa, have four children.
