Morning Camps

  • Middle School Football | 6th-8th | 9 AM-12 PM

    The CCS Middle School Summer Football Camp will focus on football fundamentals, skill development, and offensive/defensive techniques. The campers will also be introduced to the different skill tests such as the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, and pro agility test as well as instructed on the importance of academics, physical fitness, and spiritual well-being. Campers will be taught by current CCS football coaches and players! This 4-day camp (Tues.-Fri.) is for rising 6th-8th graders. The cost of this camp is $175.

Morning Camps

  • Gymnastics | PreSchool | 9 AM-12 PM

    CCS is partnering with Razaroo Gymnastics to bring an amazing camp for our littles gymnasts. Campers will learn how to safely flip and summersault as well as work on balance, stretching, and more. The cost of this camp is $225.
  • Dash, Dot, Ozobot | K-1st | 9 AM-12 PM

    Robotics campers will be motivated to collaborate with one another to understand the basics of robotics construction and the programming language. In this robotics camp, we will have lots of fun programming the robots to complete challenges and battle in strategy games. Fun things we will do in robotics camp may include dressing up our robots for a dance party, creating a story using different robots, or battle racing the robots! This camp will be led by Ms. Kirsten Hyde. The cost of this camp is $200.
  • Fairy Princess | K-1st | 9 AM-12 PM

    This camp will allow your daughter to focus on a different princess each day. This is done with crafts, songs, dress-up, games, and much more. This camp will be led by Ms. Charlotte Thomas. The cost of this camp is $200.
  • Messy Adventures | K-1st | 9 AM-12 PM

    Come join us for a week of messy games, crafts, and adventures. Campers will be guaranteed to get messy with shaving cream, paint, and many other creative activities. This camp will be led by Ms. Caitlin Tanner and Ms. Ashley Holwerda. The cost of this camp is $200.
  • Tennis | K-5th | 9 AM-12 PM

    Come join us at The Maclellan Tennis Center for Tennis Camp. All sessions are divided by skill level and age. We will be focusing on basic strokes, enhanced motor skills, footwork and balance, strategy and tactics, teamwork, rules of the game, mental toughness, and conditioning in a fun, age-appropriate, and encouraging environment. Each Camp will be led by Coach Jason Tipton (USPTR). He has taught tennis in Chattanooga for the past 18 years and had the opportunity to be a part of 10 Tennessee State Titles and multiple singles and doubles state titles, while also coaching a top 20 team in the country. The cost of this camp is $225.
  • Flag Football | 1st-5th | 9 AM-12 PM

    Flag Football Camp is designed to teach the basic skills of football to young athletes. Skills taught include throwing, catching, running, and other key fundamental skills and techniques of the game. Campers will also be taught basic concepts of offensive and defensive play. Team work and team building will be taught in this fun, interactive camp. This camp will be led by CCS coach staff. The cost of this camp is $175.
  • American Girl Doll | 2nd-3rd | 9 AM-12 PM

    Campers will provide their dolls with the ultimate camp experience. Girls and their dolls will participate in games, movies, crafts, and much more. All materials will be provided. Don’t have an American Girl doll? No problem! Bring one of your favorite dolls with you to this fun and crafty camp. This camp will be led by Ms. Laurel Caine. The cost of this camp is $200.
  • Co-ed Basketball | 3rd-5th | 9 AM-12 PM

    Varsity Basketball Coach Laura Cottrell is putting on an amazing, high- energy basketball camp for boys and girls in grades 3rd-5th. Campers will spend time practicing and learning shooting fundamentals and mechanics, offensive footwork, ball handling and control, passing and catching techniques, shooting, and much more. Campers will be taught techniques, but more importantly, they will be given tools to practice these skills at home. The cost of this camp is $200.
  • Running | 3rd-5th | 9 AM-12 PM

    Come learn how to run correctly and effectively through group runs, workouts, and fun games. Sessions will include proper warm up and cool down, running mechanics, interval training, endurance training, speed and agility training, injury prevention, and nutrition. Wear proper running shoes and running attire for summer weather. Also bring a water bottle and beach towel. This camp will be led by Coach Katie Stanford, CCS Head Track & Field and Cross Country Coach. Coach Stanford has 19 years of Track and Cross Country coaching experience at the college and high school level and holds certifications with USATF and the USTFCCCA. The cost of this camp is $200.
  • Pottery | 4th-6th | 9 AM-12 PM

    Children love the feel of clay in their hands and the joy of forming and shaping that clay into an original piece of pottery that they can treasure forever! This summer students will learn the art of ceramics and the science behind clay, glazes, and firing. Students will create a collection of one-of-a-kind pieces on the wheel and use hand building techniques such as slab construction, coiling, and pinch pots. On the last day of camp, students will glaze their pieces for pick-up the following week. This camp will be led by Ms. Deborah Boucher and Ms. Myra Gordon. The cost of this camp is $200.
  • Clay Jewelry Making | 6th-8th | 9 AM-12 PM

    Have you seen the amazing earrings in all the fun shapes and designs? This is your chance to create some! This camp will focus on how to make jewelry out of clay. Campers will leave with some beautiful creations. This camp will be led by Ms. Jana Jones. The cost of this camp is $200.

    In this camp, you'll paint in a different destination each day where you'll set up plein air easels and paint nature and landscapes. This camp will be led by Josh Green. The cost of this camp is $225.
  • Beginners Chess | 6th-12th | 9 AM-12 PM

    Are you new to the game of chess and want to improve your skills or have never played and want to learn? This is the camp for you. Campers will work on the rules and strategies of the game of chess. This camp is led by Mr. Kyle Vivian. The cost of this camp is $175.
  • Board Games | 6th-12th | 9 AM-12 PM

    Would you like to have fun, relax, and play games? Board Games Camp is a time to have fun with your friends and learn a different board game each day. Students have time up front to learn the game, and they spend the rest of the camp time actually playing and competing against other students. Come join us for a laid-back afternoon! The board games may include: Risk, Monopoly, Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, chess, card games, etc. This camp will be led by Melanie Ray. The cost of this camp is $175.
  • Beach Volleyball | 7th-9th | 9 AM-12 PM

    In this thrilling camp held on our new beach volleyball court, your daughter or son will learn the fundamentals and explore the wonderful game of  beach volleyball. We will learn how to pass, set, serve, and attack a ball. Throughout the week, your child will enjoy games and fun activities, all while learning the basics of beach volleyball. This camp will be led by Coach Brittney Berube. Boys and girls are welcome. The cost of this camp is $175.

Afternoon Camps

    Come join us at The Maclellan Tennis Center for Tennis Camp. All sessions are divided by skill level and age. We will be focusing on basic strokes, enhanced motor skills, footwork and balance, strategy and tactics, teamwork, rules of the game, mental toughness, and conditioning in a fun, age-appropriate, and encouraging environment. Each Camp will be led by Coach Jason Tipton (USPTR). He has taught tennis in Chattanooga for the past 18 years and had the opportunity to be a part of 10 Tennessee State Titles and multiple singles and doubles state titles, while also coaching a top 20 team in the country. The cost of this camp is $225.

Full-Day Camps

  • Horseback Riding | 4th-8th | 9 AM-4 PM

    This camp will take campers off campus to a local horse farm to learn how to care for and ride horses. The farm consists of three arenas with indoor and outdoor spaces. Riding helmets and gear are provided by the farm. Campers are dropped off and picked up at CCS. Transportation to and from the camp is provided on CCS buses, and a CCS staff member will be at the farm with campers all day. The camp will be led by Euchee Meadows Equestrian. The cost of this camp is $425.

    Let your little one spend the week creating and playing with Play-Doh modeling compound. This camp will include creating fun shapes and objects, as well as playing games and other activities. This camp is led by Ms. Emily Close. The cost of this camp is $200.
  • Dive into Disney | K-1st | 9 AM-12 PM

    Come join us in exploring the Magical World of Disney! Campers will spend the week making crafts, enjoying snacks, and playing games with Disney themes including Minnie and Mickey, Tangled, Toy Story, Incredibles, Finding Nemo, and Finding Dory. This camp will be led by Ms. Charlotte Thomas. The cost of this camp is $200.
  • LEGO Adventure | K-1st | 9 AM-12 PM

    LEGO Adventure Camp will be engaging, creative, and active. Children will build and act with LEGO. Your child will play games and do activities that will keep them moving throughout the day. Each day will be a different theme. Children are encouraged to dress up each day with the following themes: LEGO Superhero, LEGO Ninjago, LEGO City, LEGO Minecraft, and LEGO Star Wars. This camp will be led by Ms. Rebecca Patty. The cost of this camp is $200.
  • Outer Space | K-1st | 9 AM-12 PM

    Three, two, one, blast off! Let your camper spend a week in outer space. Campers will explore the wonders of the universe with this out-of-this-world camp. This camp is led by Ms. Ashley Henderson. The cost of this camp is $200.

    This camp will teach the basic, fundamental skills of wrestling. We hope that by attending this camp, participants will begin to grasp the foundational skills necessary to become a successful athlete. Campers will be working with Head Wrestling Coach Josh Craft and members of the High School wrestling team. The cost of this camp is $175.
  • Ninja Warrior | 1st-6th | 9 AM-12 PM

    Want to explore some basic ninja warrior activities? Campers will work on upper body strength activities as well as balance obstacles. Campers will have a great time climbing, crawling, and running. They may even come home a little wet from the water obstacles. This camp will be led by Coach Tyler Robertson and Mr. Kairu Tumae. The cost of this camp is $200.
  • LEGO Robotics 1: Build & Program | 4th-5th | 9 AM-12 PM

    Does your camper have an interest in robotics? This is the camp for them. This series of camps will allow campers to build, code, and control LEGO robots. Campers can sign up for Robotics 1: Build, Robotics 2: Code, or Robotics 3: Control camps. Registration is separate for each week. This camp is led by Ms. Emily Pensinger. The cost of each camp is $200.
  • Architecture & Inventors | 4th-6th | 9 AM-12 PM

    Travel through time with one eye on art and the other on science! Learn from some of the greatest minds in history about the construction of famous buildings and major inventions. This hands-on camp will allow students to learn about these great thinkers and then use the ideas they have learned to create buildings and design their own inventions. This camp is led by Ms. Deborah Boucher and Ms. Myra Gordon. The cost of this camp is $200.
  • Escape Room | 5th-8th | 9 AM-12 PM

    Does your child like riddles and breaking codes? Join us this summer as we work together to "Escape the Room!" The kids will learn to break codes and solve problems as they work together as a team. The Gamemaster will help guide them as they race against the clock to escape the room. This camp will be led by Melanie Ray. The cost of this camp is $200.
  • Intermediate Chess | 6th-12th | 9 AM-12 PM

    Have you been working on your chess skills and need some competition? Are you wanting to improve your skills even more? Chess camp is what your are looking for. This camp is for intermediate chess players who want to improve their skills. This camp is led by Mr. Kyle Vivian. The cost of this camp is $175.

  • Advanced Escape Room | 6th-8th | 1 PM-4 PM

    Has your camper attended an Escape Room camp in past summers or is attending Escape Room 1 camp this year and looking for more of a challenge? Join us this summer for Escape Room 2! Campers will work on more detailed and complicated rooms. Campers are guaranteed not to do the same room as previous camps. This camp will be led by Melanie Ray. The cost of this camp is $200.
  • Peak Performance | 6th-9th | 1 PM-4 PM

    This camp offers opportunities for rising Middle and High School athletes to learn and grow in sports performance to assist in their athletic development. Age appropriate training on weight room technique, speed, agility, and flexibility will be taught by Nationally Certified Coaches with experience working with all athletes from ages 8-professional to ensure a safe and fun learning experience. This camp is led by CCS’s Director of Strength & Conditioning, Tony Decker. The dates of this camp are June 12-15 (4 days), and the cost of this camp is $140.

    Come explore Chattanooga with Mr. Josh Green. This camp will be a full day of discovery and learning about the amazing places in Chattanooga. Campers will leave campus each day on a different adventure. They will hike beautiful mountains and explore new places in the Chattanooga area! The cost of this camp is $350.

    Barbie camp is sure to be a camp favorite this year. Come enjoy the world of imaginary play with Barbie. This camp will include games, crafts, and lots of Barbies. This camp will be led by Ms. Rebecca Patty. The cost of this camp is $200.
  • Baseball | K-5th | 9 AM-12 PM

    The CCS youth baseball clinic allows students in grades K-5 to learn and improve the basic skills of baseball in a fun, Christ-centered environment. Students will be working with CCS Head Baseball Coach Ben Wharton on skills such as throwing, fielding, hitting, sliding, base running, and pitching. Ben Wharton is a 2003 graduate of CCS, where he received TSSAA all state baseball honors and played pitcher and short stop with the 2002 and 2003 state tournament teams. Wharton continued his baseball career at Bryan College before playing for two independent minor league teams. After retiring from professional baseball, Wharton served as an assistant baseball coach at Covenant College. The cost of this clinic is $175.

  • Animal Adventure | 2nd-4th | 9 AM-12 PM

    Safari awaits! This week-long camp incorporates an exciting adventure of zoology and art. Each camper will choose an animal to study for the week. They will research facts about the animal and their habitat. Each camper will create an original drawing, painting, and sculpture of their animal and build a habitat as a backdrop to put their art on display. The week will culminate with a "zoo" exhibition for the other campers to tour! This camp is led by Ms. Deborah Boucher. The cost of this camp is $200.
  • Around the World | 3rd-5th | 9 AM-12 PM

    Come be a world traveler! We will travel to five continents in five days! During our explorations we will discover the food, language, art, and culture of various places on each of the continents. This camp will be led by Ms. Ashley Henderson. The cost of this camp is $200.
  • Star Wars | 3rd-5th | 9 AM-12 PM

    In a galaxy far, far away, there was a camp where campers could come and spend the week with all things Star Wars. Campers will spend the week exploring the Star Wars franchise through games, play, creating, and other activities. This camp is led by Mr. Dalton Bailey. The cost of this camp is $200.   • LEGO Robotics 2: Code | 4th-5th | 9 AM-12 PM

    Looking for a camp that will teach some of the important aspects of being an adult? This camp is the one for you.   • Musical Theatre Performance (Week 2) | K-8th | 1 PM-4 PM

    Become a part of a Chattanooga Christian School summer tradition as you experience our fabulous Musical Theatre Camp! Rising K-8th grade campers will learn all that goes into putting on a musical theatre show. Campers work on performance skills (singing, dancing, and acting), stagecraft skills (creating costumes, props, and sets), and how to pull a show together through teamwork! Every child will be a part of our dazzling final production on Friday, June 23 at either 11:00 AM or 3:00 PM.

    Camp Options: Two-week participation is required. You have the choice between morning, afternoon, or full-day camp. The times and costs of this camp vary:

  • Middle School Baseball | 6th-8th | 1 PM-4 PM

    The CCS youth baseball clinic allows students in grades 6-8 to learn and improve the basic skills of baseball in a fun, Christ-centered environment. Students will be working with CCS Head Baseball Coach Ben Wharton on skills such as throwing, fielding, hitting, sliding, base running, and pitching. Ben Wharton is a 2003 graduate of CCS, where he received TSSAA all state baseball honors and played pitcher and short stop with the 2002 and 2003 state tournament teams. Wharton continued his baseball career at Bryan College before playing for two independent minor league teams. After retiring from professional baseball, Wharton served as an assistant baseball coach at Covenant College. The cost of this clinic is $175.
  • Tennis | 6th-12th | 1 PM-4 PM

    Come join us at The Maclellan Tennis Center for Tennis Camp. All sessions are divided by skill level and age. We will be focusing on basic strokes, enhanced motor skills, footwork and balance, strategy and tactics, teamwork, rules of the game, mental toughness, and conditioning in a fun, age-appropriate, and encouraging environment. Each Camp will be led by Coach Jason Tipton (USPTR).   • Fly Fishing | 6th-12th | 9 AM-4 PM

    During Fly Fishing Camp, students will learn the basics of fly fishing including technique, fly tying, knot tying, fly identification, hook setting, and the basic fly cast. Little to no experience is required; this is for beginners who want to learn how to fly fish. Students will be able to practice at local ponds and safe sections of rivers around the area catching bluegill, bass, trout, and perhaps some other interesting local fish. Fly fishing is a beautiful, calming, and peaceful activity that can provide students with a chance to be still and experience the beauty of God’s world. A fly rod (and reel) rigged with floating line and tippet is required for this camp. If you do not have one, or need recommendations for one, please contact us. This camp will be led by Mr. Clay Huffaker. The cost of this camp is $350.

    This camp is a great opportunity for campers to learn the basics of several sports. Campers will spend time learning football, basketball, baseball, wrestling, and soccer. This camp will be led by Mr. Kairu Tumae. The cost of this camp is $175.
  • Spa-Tea-Da | K-3rd | 9 AM-12 PM

    Come enjoy a week of tea parties and pampering. Led by Ms. Charlotte Thomas, this camp will be sure to make you relax and have fun! The cost of this camp is $200.
  • LEGO Build & Play | 2nd-5th | 9 AM-12 PM

    LEGO Build and Play will be a time for campers to design and build with LEGOS. This camp will have a set for each camper to work on throughout the week that the camper will get to take home at the end of the camp. This camp will be led by Miriam Arnold. The cost of this camp is $225.
  • LEGO Robotics 3: Control | 4th-5th | 9 AM-12 PM

At the end of the camp, you will leave with a CPR certification as well as a Red Cross Babysitter certification. This camp will be led by Nurse Amie Brown. The cost of this camp is $225.

    You’re invited to explore the Wizarding World of Harry Potter for one magical week this summer.     In this thrilling camp, your daughter or son will learn the fundamentals and explore the wonderful game of volleyball. We will learn how to pass, set, serve, and attack a ball.     Come join Mr. Greg Davick and Ms. Sara Davick in discovering the adventures of Chattanooga. This camp will include half-day adventures at NOOGA Splash, climbing at High Point, caving at Raccoon Mountain, hiking and team building, and doing a day of river adventures. We will end with a full day of rafting the Ocoee River (campers must be 11 years old or 90 lbs to raft). Campers are guaranteed a week of fun and adventure. The cost of this camp is $300.

    Have you ever looked at a craft and thought, "I can make that?" It's time to put your skills to the test. Campers will be given a craft and the supplies to replicate the design.   • Peak Performance | 6th-8th | 1 PM-4 PM

    This camp offers opportunities for rising Middle and High School athletes to learn and grow in sports performance to assist in their athletic development. Age appropriate training on weight room technique, speed, agility, and flexibility will be taught by Nationally Certified Coaches with experience working with all athletes from ages 8-professional to ensure a safe and fun learning experience. This camp is led by CCS’s Director of Strength & Conditioning, Tony Decker. The dates for this camp are July 10-13 (4 days), and the cost of this camp is $140.

Campers will have the opportunity to show off what they learn in a mini performance on Friday, July 21. The cost of this camp is $200.
  • LEGO Adventure | K-1st | 9 AM-12 PM

    LEGO Adventure Camp will be engaging, creative, and active. Children will build and act with LEGO. Your child will play games and do activities that will keep them moving throughout the day.     This is a beginner class targeting students entering CCS Upper School Robotics. Current robotics team members are welcome to sign up as well. Learn the core of the robotics design process while building your robot for the 2023-2024 VRC Season. Build and program a prototype. Test. Modify. Repeat. In one week, you and your team  will build your own robot in anticipation of daily scrimmages as well as the tournament on the final day. This class will be led by CCS Robotics coaches and top robotics students who will be sharing all their tips and tricks for making and improving competitive robot builds. CCS will provide all the parts and equipment for use for the week. This camp will be led by our CCS Robotics instructors. The cost of this camp is $400.

  • College App Bootcamp | 12th | 9 AM-12 PM

    Are you interested in getting a head start on the many steps of the college application process? CCS’s College App Boot Camp assists rising seniors with application essays, resumes/activities lists, and understanding each college or university's application submission systems and deadlines. Monday and Wednesday of the camp will concentrate on the college application process, and students will begin filling out college applications. Tuesday and Thursday of the camp will concentrate on Common App essay topic selection and drafting of college application essays. This camp will be led by High School Academic and College Counselor Staff with Ms. Beth Kelle as the lead instructor. For questions about whether this is an appropriate workshop for your rising senior, please contact your academic counselor. The cost of this camp is $150.

Camp Cancellation Policy

No cancellation fee if cancelled before May 1. After May 1, $50 cancellation fee is applied to each camp cancelled, until 7 days from the camp start date, at which time the cancellation fee is 50% of the camp.
