    Our Strength and Conditioning department works to accomplish the three major goals of improving athletic performance, reducing athletic injuries, and teaching lifelong fitness and movement skills. Our coaches work in cooperation with our athletic training staff in the rehabilitation and strengthening of injured athletes and to devise training plans according to sound scientific principles, supervise training sessions, evaluate athletes, and teach strength and conditioning classes.

Tony Decker
Director of Strength & Conditioning

Tony Decker has a wealth of experience with more than 30 years of collegiate strength and conditioning experience at the Division I level.

His collegiate director experience includes the University of Virginia, the University of Delaware, Temple University, and his most recent position at Coastal Carolina University. He is four-time National Strength Coach of the Year, taught college sports medicine and exercise science for 17 years, a nationally-renowned speaker, and a published author.

Decker's time at the college level, combined with his passion for developing all male and female sports teams, will help springboard CCS to be a top-notch DII-AA athletics program.
