Grow
Fifty years ago, a group of people desired to build a distinctively Christian school in a reformed tradition. That seed of an idea took root and over the past 50 years has grown into the largest private school in Chattanooga. Our campus stands as a testament to God's faithfulness.
Over the past decade, we've invested more than 20 million dollars in our 55-acre campus to create spaces designed for life and learning and to increase a sense of belonging. This includes the construction of new facilities like a dedicated Lower School STEM room as well as repurposed facilities like Upper School science labs and student spaces.
Chattanooga Christian School (CCS) is a Christian, interdenominational, co-educational, day school nestled on 55+ acres at the foot of Lookout Mountain. CCS has been serving Christian families in the Chattanooga area since 1970 and currently enrolls 1,475+ students in the Lower School (PreSchool-5), Middle School (6-8), and High School (9-12).
Why Choose Christian Education?
Cardus, an independent think tank, partnered with the University of Notre Dame to measure graduate outcomes for protestant Christian schools compared to the same outcomes for Catholic, public, and non-religious private schools. Data from 4,000+ students and 450+ schools over the last 10 years shows graduates of protestant Christian schools are: MORE OPTIMISTIC
Graduates have more clarity about goals in life and seek jobs that fulfill their giftings and callings.
MORE RELATIONAL
Graduates are equipped to engage relationally, have more hope, and display more respect for authority.
MORE GENEROUS
Graduates are more grateful and more likely to volunteer and engage in community service.
MORE COMMITTED
Graduates are more likely to stay married, pray with others, and be actively involved in a local church.
