HOLD FAST

List of 1 items.

  • FIRM IN MISSION & PRACTICE

This campaign was created in response to years of steady growth and is designed to meet long-term infrastructure needs. Several projects have already been completed, and each one reflects our commitment to offering students an academically challenging and distinctively Christian learning environment.

With your help, the Hold Fast campaign will enable CCS to stand firm in both mission and practice—preparing students to lead and serve.

We are grateful for the many families who have already partnered with us in this effort. We are pleased to share that 80% of our $13.8 million goal has been raised, and a matching gift opportunity is available through June 30, 2025. Now is the time to help us finish strong.

ACADEMICS, ARTS, SAFETY, & ATHLETICS

ENHANCE ACADEMIC ENVIRONMENTS
New Lower School Classrooms
Upper School Furnishings
New Glenwood School Classrooms & Renovations
Lower School Playground
Robotics Upgrades

-IN 2024-
As CCS continued to grow steadily, many of our learning spaces became overcrowded, and furnishings showed wear from frequent use. The Lower School received more mission-fit applications than we had space to enroll, and The Glenwood School needed larger classrooms to implement a more sustainable model.

-IN RESPONSE-
We purchased new furnishings for the Upper School—including desks, lockers, tables, and flooring. We renovated the Upper and Lower School libraries, upgraded the playground, and expanded the robotics area. At The Glenwood School, we added two new classrooms, allowing us to serve 120 students.

-NEXT STEPS-
We plan to construct eight new 750+ square-foot Lower School classrooms in the courtyard near the Lower School entrance. The renovation will also add much-needed offices, meeting spaces, adult restrooms, and a larger entrance. Scheduled for 2026, this project will allow CCS to serve more PreSchool–5th grade students long-term—growing our culture from the ground up.
IMPROVE FINE ARTS & WORSHIP EXPERIENCES
Expanded Seating & New Lobby
Lighting, Sound, and Video Equipment

-IN 2024-
The Fine Arts Center was outdated and unable to meet the needs of CCS students. With a capacity of just 460, it couldn’t hold the entire high school at once—forcing chapel to be split into two services each week. Most equipment hadn’t been updated in over 20 years, requiring rentals for all major events. The lack of middle aisles created less-than-ideal seating arrangements.

-IN RESPONSE-
The floor plan was redesigned to add two middle aisles and increase seating capacity by 140—bringing the total to 600. New lighting, sound, and video equipment was installed, ensuring high-quality performance for years to come. A professional-grade gallery wall was added in the lobby, providing a beautiful space to showcase student artwork and offering more flexible space for students throughout the school day.

INCREASE SAFETY, SECURITY, & PARKING
Parking, Sidewalks, and Entrances
Security, Fencing, and Landscaping
Glenwood School Enhancements

-IN 2024-
The CCS campus lacked a secure perimeter and a guarded entrance.
Parking created frequent congestion for parents and students. In the Lower School areas, sidewalks were either too narrow or missing
altogether, compromising student safety.

-IN RESPONSE-
We installed perimeter fencing, a guarded entrance, and widened sidewalks in multiple areas. We created over 100 new parking spaces and prioritized students, parents, and visitors. We also added protective materials to all exterior windows and installed easy-to-use door locks in every classroom. Additionally, we hired a second security officer for added safety and security.

-NEXT STEPS-
We will install additional perimeter fencing at The Glenwood School and at CCS later this year to ensure protection for both campuses.
UPGRADE ATHLETICS FOR DISCIPLESHIP BUILDING
Baseball Improvements
Turf on Track Field
New Golf Area and Storage

 -IN 2024-
Our golf team didn’t have a dedicated place to practice on campus. The baseball field hadn’t been updated in years, and the dugouts were cramped and run-down. With our growing student population, practice space was already limited—especially on rainy days when field conditions weren’t ideal.

-IN RESPONSE-
We built the Charger Golf Center, featuring two simulators and dedicated space for the golf team to meet and train. The baseball field also received a full upgrade, including a new turfed infield, updated dugouts with added storage, and protective netting to shield Lower School students on the adjacent playground.

-NEXT STEPS-
Once the Hold Fast campaign is complete, we plan to turf several additional areas and build more gymnasiums. These updates will create much-needed practice space for multiple sports and benefit student-athletes of all ages.

CAMPAIGN GOAL $13.8 MILLION

CHARGER FUND

A portion of the Hold Fast campaign ($1.2M) is designated for The Charger Fund. The Charger Fund helps secure need-based aid for deserving families and supports the CCS Endowment

Need-based aid enables CCS to support over 500 students annually, while the endowment contributes to enhanced teacher compensation. These priorities make the Charger Fund an essential part of every comprehensive CCS campaign.
