Day Camp

Welcome to a Summer of Fun!

We're so excited for your child to be part of camp this summer!

Our Day Camp is chock-full of physical, scientific, and creative activities each day! Day campers are grouped by age to ensure that all activities are exciting as well as age appropriate. Join us for themed activities, crafts, and crazy dress-up days.

Day Camp will run for 10 weeks from May 30-August 4. For each Day Camp, there is a 3-day and a 5-day option. Lunch is included in the cost of Day Camp and registration is based on the grade your child will enter this fall. See our Day Camp Pricing list for more information.

Important Information

List of 4 items.

  • Personal Items

    • Please label all articles of clothing, towels, blankets, and water bottles with your child's name.
    • Please send a bathing suit and towel each day. If your child is more comfortable in a rash guard, or if girls would like to bring a swimsuit cover-up, please feel free to send them. Swimsuits need to be one-piece or tankini style—please no two-piece or bikini swimsuits.
    • Please send your child in waterproof sandals or water shoes (Chacos, Keens, or Tevas, etc.) so they can participate in water and athletic activities.
    • Please send your child in sunscreen. We will only apply sunscreen if you marked "yes" on your registration.
    • Please send a labeled bottle of sunscreen with your child.
    • Please send a towel/blanket for rest time. Older students may also bring a book or quiet activity for rest time. No electronics, please.
  • Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Our campus is very secure throughout the day, and all the exterior doors will be locked. Campers will be dropped off and picked up at the Lower School. You will receive a camp carpool tag to place in your windshield when you pick up.
    • If your child is being picked up by someone other than you, please make sure that person is on the authorized pick-up list or has the carpool tag.
    • Children must be picked up by the end of carpool (by 4:15 PM).
    • Specific details for pick-up and drop-off will be emailed the week before your child's camp starts.
  • Lunch & Snacks

Lunch will be provided to all campers who attend Day Camp. This includes campers who register for the Day Camp Add-On. The price of lunch is included in the Day Camp registration and the Day Camp Add-On registration. Meals will be prepared by SAGE Dining Services. A menu will be available each week so campers know what will be provided. Campers may bring food from home if they choose, but no refunds will be given if your child decides to bring their lunch.

Campers who are staying for a full day of camps, but not attending Day Camp, will have the ability to purchase the lunch option for an additional $40. This applies to campers who register for a morning Specialty Camp and an afternoon Specialty Camp in one week, as well as campers who attend Musical Theatre Camp & Robotics Build (full-day option). This does not apply to the off-campus camps like Horseback Riding, Chattanooga Explorers, and Fly Fishing).

We will provide plenty of time to eat lunch and hydrate during the day. We will provide a healthy snack (and most likely, a popsicle!) each day. However, if you feel that your child will require additional snacks, please provide them. Children are not permitted to use the vending machines to purchase sodas and candy bars, so please do not send money with your child. All snacks and lunches provided will be nut free.

If your child has a food allergy that needs to be accommodated, email summerprograms@ccsk12.com
  • Before Camp Care and After Camp Care

    • This additional service is available to all our campers as an added convenience. Before Camp Care is 7:30-9:00 AM, and After Camp Care is 4:00-6:00 PM. We do not provide care before 7:30 AM or after 6:00 PM.
    • The Before and After Camp Care rates are flat rates and do not vary upon arrival and departure time.
    • Before and After Care will pick up and drop off at the Lower School, regardless of age.
    • Parents may drop off up to 15 minutes before the start of a camp unless they choose to add Before or After Camp Care. Any child dropped off earlier than 8:45 AM will be sent to Before Camp Care and charged $7 a day. Any child not picked up by 4:15 PM will be sent to After Camp Care and charged $7 a day. This policy will be enforced. Campers in a specialty camp may be dropped off up to 15 minutes before their camp start time.
