Educational Program Overview
The King School is a small neighborhood K-5 Christian school located on the campus of Olivet Baptist Church in downtown Chattanooga with one class per grade. Instruction and curriculum practices include:
- Language-rich classroom environments
- Literacy instruction specific to needs
- Math instruction including coding and real-world problem solving
- The study of history and science in connection with other subjects
- Bible and technology integration
- Art experiences
- Weekly chapel time
- Flexible Seating options that allow students to move as they learn
- STEM, Art, Music, and Library activities weekly

From Downtown Chattanooga: Head Southeast from downtown on MLK Blvd. Look for a large mural of Martin Luther King on the side of the building. This is Peeples St. Take a right onto Peeples St. The King School is your first left in to Olivet Baptist Church. -
