CCS has a long tradition of fielding competitive soccer teams locally and at the state level. CCS won 4 consecutive Region Championships from 2014-2017 and made 8 consecutive appearances at the State Tournament. In 2017 & 2018, the team earned DII-A State Runner-Up.
The staff seeks to use soccer as an accelerant for learning about our Christian faith. The high school team has 4 coaches excited to prepare young ladies to be exceptional high school soccer athletes and, if desired, help them to the next level. Since 2019 CCS has seen 12+ athletes continue to play at the college level. Training is achieved with a FIFA certified turf field paired with a cooling agent to keep temperatures down in the hot summer and two well maintained full size grass fields.
Head Coach Tyler Robertson has a passion for leading students at CCS and you can see that play out on the field and in the Spirit Shop. Previously, Tyler was an assistant coach for both our varsity girls and boys programs and has been mentored by an experienced and impressive staff that includes Cal Sneller, Gretchen Hammel, and Warren Smith. Coach Robertson is assisted by Coach Warren Smith, 20-year head coach veteran. Tyler also coaches inside the Red Wolves Academy and served as an assistant coach in the Women's Premier Soccer League for the Chattanooga Lady Red Wolves SC (2021 Conference Champions).
Tyler has an MBA from Carson Newman. He earned his undergrad in Exercise and Sports Science at Tennessee Wesleyan University where he was a varsity soccer player.
