Building Strong Foundations

At Chattanooga Christian School (CCS), we are committed to service initiatives that allow students, faculty, and staff to give back to Chattanooga. These opportunities are central to our mission and vision for Christian education.

One such initiative is The Glenwood School, a K–5 neighborhood school created in partnership with a local church and housed in their existing facilities. The school provides affordable, high-quality Christian education for students in underserved neighborhoods.

Research shows that 3rd graders who are not proficient in reading are four times more likely to drop out before graduating. By preparing more 6th grade–ready students to succeed in middle school, The Glenwood School seeks to positively impact not only local schools but also the lives of students, their families, and the broader community.

The Glenwood School opened in fall 2022 on the campus of New City Fellowship Church. Funding is provided through the Partner School General Fund.
