Chattanooga Christian School (CCS) has long been committed to providing a Christ-centered, academically rigorous education. Whether you graduated last year or decades ago, your time at CCS helped shape what the school is today: a place of deep faith, academic excellence, and lasting community. As the school continues to grow, the need for enhanced facilities and resources becomes increasingly important. That’s where the Hold Fast campaign comes in—a comprehensive initiative designed to strengthen CCS’s infrastructure and better serve its students and community.
The Hold Fast campaign is a $13.8 million initiative with four key components: enhancing academic environments, improving fine arts & worship experiences, increasing safety, security, and parking, and lastly upgrading athletics for discipleship building.
With $5.4 million allocated to academic improvements, CCS plans to construct eight new Lower School classrooms to accommodate growing enrollment. Additionally the school has already upgraded Upper School furnishings, expanded and renovated the two campus libraries, enhanced the robotics area, and added two new classrooms to the Glenwood School. These developments are designed to inspire students and support their academic growth.
A total of $2.8 million has been designated for Fine Arts and Worship spaces. In fall 2024, CCS redesigned the Fine Arts Center to increase seating capacity to 600, installed state-of-the-art lighting, sound, and video systems, and added a professional-grade gallery wall in the lobby to showcase student and alumni artwork. These upgrades ensure students have the space and tools to express their creativity and deepen their faith.
Student safety remains a top priority. CCS has allocated $2.6 million for enhanced safety measures. The school has installed perimeter fencing and a guarded entrance, expanded sidewalks, added over 100 new parking spaces, upgraded classroom door locks, and reinforced windows with protective materials. An additional security officer has also been hired to help ensure campus safety. These efforts provide peace of mind for both families and staff.
Athletics, which play a key role in character development, are receiving $1.8 million through the Hold Fast campaign. The Charger Golf Center—with simulators and training space—was completed in summer 2024. During the 2024–25 school year, renovations to the baseball field were finalized, including new turf and updated dugouts. Future plans include additional turf areas and more gymnasiums to support a variety of sports. These enhancements equip student-athletes to thrive both on and off the field.
Lastly, $1.2 million of the campaign is dedicated to The Charger Fund, which provides need-based financial aid to over 500 students annually and supports the CCS Endowment to improve teacher compensation and development. These efforts ensure that a CCS education remains accessible and that educators are equipped to flourish in their roles.
To date, 80% of the $13.8 million goal has been raised. Thanks to the generosity of CCS supporters, all gifts made by June 30, 2025, will be matched up to $150,000. This is a pivotal opportunity to give and help CCS "Hold Fast" to its mission.
