Saturday evening, CCS graduates gathered for the annual Alumni Picnic to feast on tacos and catch up with former classmates. Prior to the picnic, the Admissions Office led tours of campus so grads could see additions and renovations to campus including a new commercial kitchen for daily lunches, updated science labs, and an industrial arts facility. Alumni received a special gift as well as a complimentary meal and admission to the football game.

 

Members from the classes of 1987, 2022, and 2017 organized gatherings to get as many of their classmates back on campus as possible. "Having my class come together and tour campus to see what all has changed was so much fun and reminded me of how important the community we share is," Bailey said. "CCS is and will forever be a home to me, and I am blessed to watch it continuously grow and flourish alongside those I graduated with.”

 

Along with alumni, hundreds of current students and their families kicked-off Homecoming festivities with dinner at Charger Town, the pregame hub that has quickly become a new CCS tradition.

 

The night ended with fireworks as the Chargers scored a 49-14 win over Notre Dame High School.
