• TPAC Honors "Crazy for You"

    The cast and crew of "Crazy for You" took home four Spotlight Awards for the 2022 high school musical production. They received awards for "Outstanding Musical," "Outstanding Choreography," "Outstanding Set Design," and "Outstanding Technical Execution."
  • Ensemble to Sing at Carnegie Hall

    The High School Choral Ensemble has been invited to sing at Carnegie Hall in New York City as part of the Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY). They will perform “Glimpses of the Sacred Veil: The Music of Eric Whitacre,” alongside accompanist Kelly Yu-Chieh and cellist Jake Charkey. Eric Whitacre is a Grammy Award-winning composer and conductor best known for his choral music. “The Sacred Veil” is a 12-movement work by Whitacre in collaboration with poet/lyricist Charles Anthony Silvestri and tells a story of life, love and loss.
  • Senior Athletes Sign Offers

    On May 3, four CCS seniors signed their official offers to take their athletic careers to the next level. Three soccer players will continue to play the beautiful game: Nathan Peace at Johnson University, Nicko Bellot at Tennessee Wesleyan, and Cameron Heilig at Covenant College. Cole Micho will continue his promising track & field career at Bryan College. Congratulations to these student-athletes! We are so proud of you!
  • CCS Students Win YSSW Writing Awards

    Six CCS students were honored by the Southern Lit Alliance and the Department of English at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga as winners in their Young Southern Student Writers (YSSW) contest. Alice Eaker (7th), Kyla Kruchinski (7th), Ella Theobold (9th), Shepard Slaten (5th), and Graham Tomas (5th) were recognized for prose. Isabel Mullins (8th) was recognized for poetry.   • CCS Opens Second Micro School

    This August, CCS will launch a second micro school called The Glenwood School (TGS), which will be housed on the campus of New City Fellowship at 2424 East 3rd Street in Chattanooga. The school is currently accepting applications for K and 1st grade and will host an open house for prospective families on May 7 from 10 AM to 2 PM at New City Fellowship.
