  • CCS Celebrates Four Student-Athletes on National Signing Day

    On National Signing Day in November, four CCS student-athletes officially declared their intent to further their athletic careers. Audrey Crawford has committed to play soccer at Southern Wesleyan University (NCAA DII), Avery Ray will play volleyball for Morehead State University (NCAA DI), Kennedy Barber will play volleyball for Covenant College (NCAA DIII), and Hannah Blevins will play volleyball and softball for Covenant College (NCAA DIII).
  • CCS Welcomed Alumni Back to Campus for Homecoming

    Hundreds of alumni along with family and friends returned to CCS to celebrate Homecoming on September 16. “This year was my five year class reunion. It seems like not a lot of time has passed, but CCS has grown exponentially in the past five years,” said Lora Bailey, class of 2017.
  • Padron Awarded Grant for Urban Art Proposal

    The Current Art Fund recently awarded Upper School Art Teacher Ray Padron a grant for a project proposal to explore themes of removal, replacement, and connection in the context of urban communities and to create work and processes that will invite neighbors to reflect and share their own experiences in hopes of getting to know one another better. He intends to use the grant to invest in materials, expert input, documentation, and scanning and carving equipment.
  • Four Chattanooga Christian School Students Named Commended Students

    Four Chattanooga Christian School (CCS) high school seniors have been named Commended Students in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program.

  • Diane Walker Named Tennessee Lottery Educator of the Week

    On September 6, Diane Walker was recognized as New Channel 9's Tennessee Lottery Educator of the Week. Ms. Walker is a a kindergarten teacher and has been serving at CCS for 15 years. Her students say she is an inspiration and a mentor. We are grateful for Ms. Walker's leadership and expertise!
