PERFORMANCE: In addition to dance classes, FLARE also offers performance opportunities for students to provide a creative outlets, build confidence, and share their gifts for God’s glory. Students generally have an opportunity to perform in one recital each semester, and sometimes have the opportunity to participate in pop-up performances at CCS events.

DRESS CODE:

• Choose clothing that will allow you to move freely without feeling restricted. 
• Leotards and tights are permitted for all classes, but not required.
• Athletic t-shirts, tank tops, shorts, and leggings/joggers are permitted when fitted appropriately (not too tight/not oversized).
• No tutus, skirts, or other costuming items for any classes.
• Hair should be pulled back and out of face.
• Appropriate logos

  • Creative Movement/Ballet: Ballet slippers
  • Jazz: Jazz shoes
  • Hip Hop: Tennis shoes
  • Modern/Improv/Student Choreography: No shoes
  • Ballroom Styles: Character shoes, short heels, or jazz shoes
