Growing through Affirmation

At Chattanooga Christian School, we believe that every student is uniquely created in the image of God. Our goal is to provide a play-based, pre-academic atmosphere that affirms each student’s worth while providing a foundation for learning. We offer student-centered programs for ages 3–5 in our PreK classrooms. We seek to provide an abundance of classroom experiences that foster and encourage the spiritual, academic, and creative potential of each student. Our classes are designed to provide positive and engaging interactions for the earliest school experiences while helping to develop the skills expected of a child for the next season of learning.

Growing in Knowledge: Our Curriculum

Our PreK program incorporates pre-academic exposure which includes reading, language arts, math, science, social studies, computer science, art, music, Bible, library, and PE. Students are encouraged to be creative and use their imagination as they play and explore. The Pre-K program prepares students for a comprehensive elementary school program, while allowing children to play, inquire and explore. The Word of God is an integral part of each area of the curriculum as students are led to realize that God is a part of every area of our lives. It is our desire that students will gain a broader understanding of what it means to be a part of God’s Kingdom through everyday activities and in serving one other.
