Lower School Enrichment & Clubs

Lorem Ipsum Dolor

Lower School students discover their interests and gifts through creative, hands-on enrichment and after-school clubs. From art and robotics to running and music, these experiences spark joy in learning and build lasting friendships.

Upper School students aren’t the only ones who know how to have fun while connecting with their peers!

The Lower School (LS) is full of enthusiasm, delight, and activities. While different grades have their own unique events like the Kindergarten Mom’s Spa Day or 100th Day of School, the whole Lower School enjoys traditions like our annual Fall Festival.

And though they might be the youngest Chargers on campus, our PreSchool-5th grade students love showing off their boundless school spirit during Homecoming and Spirit Week

Lower School Clubs

Included in your tuition are engaging after-school clubs held once a week each semester. Each school year features a fresh lineup of activities designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and connection.

Lower School students enjoy a variety of enriching opportunities, which may include hands-on STEM exploration, character-building clubs, fitness and movement activities, art, building challenges, and more. Club offerings rotate regularly, but always provide meaningful ways for students to learn, grow, and have fun beyond the school day.

Lower School Athletics

CCS also provides many athletic opportunities throughout the year. Lower School students can participate in developmental teams and clinics, including baseball, basketball, cheer, cross country, soccer, softball, tennis, track, volleyball, and wrestling. These programs focus on building foundational skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for healthy competition in a supportive environment.

Lower School Robotics

As part of our growing Lower School enrichment offerings, we offer competitive robotics for 4th- and 5th-grade students. Through engaging, team-based challenges, students design and build robots while strengthening foundational STEM skills and growing in confidence. This program serves as a bridge to our Upper School robotics program, equipping students with the technical knowledge, creativity, and critical thinking skills needed for future competition.
