High School  Co-Curriculars & Clubs

In high school, clubs and co-curriculars are more than just activities—they're opportunities to make friends, exercise your gifts, explore the unknown, and make lasting memories.

Whether you're an artist, engineer, actor, athlete, or you're still figuring it out—we have something for everyone. We hope you'll come tour campus, and see what it means to be a CCS Charger.

CCS high school students dive deep into opportunities that prepare them for college and life — leadership, service, fine arts, and athletics all rooted in Christian faith and excellence. Here, students grow in skill, character, and confidence.

Competitive Robotics

Hear what Head Coach Matt Monahan believes is the secret to the program's success.

CCS Robotics #663

At CCS, robotics challenges students to think like engineers, collaborate like teammates, and lead like innovators. Through the VEX V5 Robotics Competition—the world’s largest and fastest-growing program for middle and high school students—teams design, build, and program robots to tackle a new engineering challenge each year. Along the way, students gain real-world experience in mechanical engineering, computer science, and project management, while developing essential soft skills like teamwork, communication, and critical thinking. Guided by dedicated teachers and mentors, our students don’t just compete—they grow in confidence, creativity, and a lifelong passion for STEM.

High School Student Life

Homecoming

With class skits, dress-up days, pep rallies, a community picnic, a football game, and a Homecoming dance, Homecoming Week is packed with fun for the whole school community.

Class Retreats

Fall retreats focus on service and fun and are designed to foster friendships, strengthen existing bonds, and promote emotional,
mental, and spiritual growth.

Senior Celebrations

Our seniors celebrate the end of their high school career with a community day full of fun.

Powder Puff & Buff Puff

At Powder Puff, the girls compete at flag football and the boys support them from the sidelines. At Buff Puff, the boys challenge each other on the volleyball court while the girls cheer them on.

Spirit Week

Classes transform their hallways with impressive decorations based on a theme, participate in dress-up days and games, and support their classmates at athletic games.

Dances

Students work together to plan and organize multiple school dances throughout the year, including Homecoming, Winter Formal, and Prom.

Chapel

Upper School Chapel provides an opportunity for community worship. CCS staff members and outside speakers deliver messages to the school community. Our music is provided by the CCS student Praise Band as well as musical guests from local churches, colleges, and ministries.

Interim

Every spring, students are invited to explore their interests outside the classroom—from traveling to Iceland and French cooking lessons to surfing in Florida and exploring Chattanooga.

Service Projects

We desire that students grow as lovers of God who seek Truth, serve others, and steward creation and culture. Our commitment to this kind of growth is manifested in part through active service within the school community and the broader community of Chattanooga.
