Four Chattanooga Christian School (CCS) high school seniors have been named Commended Students in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program.
The CCS National Merit Commended Students are, as pictured: Thomas May, Whit Halvorson, Braydon Cook, and Capps Brown.
According to the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, these students are among the 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation who are being recognized for their academic success. Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 students who took the 2021 PSAT (the National Merit Scholarship qualifying test).

"The recognition that each has received from National Merit Scholarship Corporation is well deserved," said High School Principal Jake Palumbo. "Braydon, Capps, Thomas, and Whit are outstanding students who excel across the broad scope of academic and extracurriculars offered at CCS. We are proud of these scholars and grateful for their many contributions to CCS and the larger community of Chattanooga."
