Educational Program Overview

The Glenwood School is a small neighborhood K-2 Christian school located on the campus of New City Fellowship east of downtown Chattanooga with one class per grade. Instruction and curriculum practices include:

Language-rich classroom environments
Literacy instruction specific to needs
Math instruction including coding and real-world problem solving
The study of history and science in connection with other subjects
Bible and technology integration
Weekly chapel time
Flexible Seating options that allow students to move as they learn

Admissions Process

The Glenwood School admissions process begins with each prospective applicant going through the checklist below. We're now accepting applications for the 2023-2024 school year. The application deadline is March 15. We will continue to receive applications after this date as long as there is space available.

To begin your online application or to schedule a tour, please create an account in MyCCS. Within 24 hours a checklist will be assigned for registration.

Admissions Application

Complete the Online Application. (Scroll down to find The Glenwood School and select appropriate grade level). A one-time, nonrefundable application fee of $25 is required to submit the application. A pastor recommendation will be needed.

Applications are due by March 15, however we will continue to receive applications after this date as long as there is space available.
New Families Financial Aid Application

The deadline for new families to apply for financial aid is March 15. To apply for financial aid, complete the TADS Application, then click Financial Aid Assessment. Click Financial Aid Instructions for help. You will need the following:
1) Most recent W2
2) Most recent 1040 Form
3) Recent paycheck stub
Returning Families Financial Aid Application

The deadline for returning families to apply for financial aid is March 1. To apply for financial aid, complete the TADS Application, then click Financial Aid Assessment. Click Financial Aid Instructions for help. You will need the following:
1) Most recent W2
2) Most recent 1040 Form
3) Most recent pay stub
Transcripts and School Records
Please use the Transcript Request Form to submit the following records from your student’s current school (1st Grade and up only):
- Grades and test scores for last three years
- Exceptional Education records, if applicable
- Additional records, as needed (i.e., discipline records, eligibility report)
Admissions Committee Evaluation

The Admissions Committee will evaluate all applicants, and admissions decisions will be released on April 1.
Tuition + Fees

The cost to attend for 2022-2023 is $7,250 per student. Financial aid is available by application.
