Library Class

We are committed to a high-quality collection of new and classic fiction and non-fiction titles. Our students visit the Library as a class once a week, and they are welcome to visit between sessions as needed. During Library class, students participate in an engaging story time, receive age-appropriate instruction on library skills, and browse for and check out books.

Independent Reading

As a division of the Learning Commons, the Primary Library is a place where students are encouraged, inspired, and equipped to love reading. Through summer reading, reading clubs, family nights, book fairs and swaps, and much more, we work hard to live our reading lives out loud for and with our students.

elementary research

We offer support and resources (electronic, print, and multimedia) for any type of research within any academic discipline. Some of our digital resources include the Tennessee Electronic Library and the World Almanac for Kids.
