Academic & College Counseling
any text here
Our College Counseling team partners with each student to help them discover colleges that reflect their unique gifts, goals, and calling—providing guidance that’s both personal and purposeful.

At Chattanooga Christian School, our Academic and College Counselors partner with students to identify their unique gifts, passions, and goals—helping them create meaningful academic and career plans beyond high school. Through ongoing relationships, our counselors gain a deep understanding of each student’s needs, ensuring every child feels known, supported, and equipped throughout their entire school experience—not just when college decisions are approaching.
When it’s time to apply for college, CCS counselors guide students every step of the way—simplifying the college application process by helping them set deadlines, stay organized, and prioritize key tasks for success.
How We Serve Students and Families
Academic Planning
We work with students on course selection, monitor progress toward graduation, and ensure students have competitive applications required for college admissions.
College Applications
We offer prep courses for college admission tests and provide special oversight for seniors as they navigate the details of the college, scholarship, and financial aid application processes.
College Counseling
We support all aspects of the student's college search and planning process, beginning in the 8th grade and continuing through their senior year. Nearly 100 admission counselors visit our campus each year for college fairs and private admission counselor visits.
Post-Graduate Pursuits
Academic and College Counselors help students as they make academic and vocational plans beyond High School, including helping students gain clarity about God’s call on their lives, focusing attention on individual students’ gifts and interests, and assisting students as they navigate the process of self-discovery.
Enrichment Opportunities
CCS offers a myriad of opportunities in which students can get involved. Whether you’re interested in delving deeper into a specific academic area, volunteering in the community, exploring options abroad, or expanding your leadership skills, our office provides a springboard to get you started!
