A Rigorous, Biblically Integrated Academic Program

The purpose of the academic program at Chattanooga Christian School is to equip students, created in the image of God and entrusted with unique gifts and talents, for fruitful service in the world. We believe a distinctive, Christ-centered education must lead students to comprehend the beautiful reality of their identity as image-bearers of God, rigorously challenging them to grow their gifts and talents in preparation for the particular calling God has prepared for them. Working in the context of this sacred calling, CCS establishes high standards and expectations that allow students to view all their learning experiences as valuable, integrated parts of the broader plan of God to reconcile all of his creation unto himself through Christ.

In order to foster continuity within academic disciplines and encourage faculty collaboration, CCS has two main academic divisions: the Upper School and the Lower School. The Upper School consists of the Middle School (6th-8th) and the High School (9th-12th), while the Lower School includes PreK through 5th Grade.
