Chattanooga Christian School Facilities
Nestled at the foot of Lookout Mountain, the 55-acre campus of Chattanooga Christian School (CCS) is a vibrant place where students learn, play, and grow in faith.

The safety of our students, staff, and visitors is our top priority. Our campus features: secure entry points and a manned gatehouse, fenced perimeters and clearly marked visitor access, on-campus security personnel and video surveillance, and emergency response plans and staff training. We maintain high standards of safety so students can focus on learning and growing in a secure environment.

Our scenic campus features: modern classroom buildings for each school level, technology-equipped science and innovation labs, fiine arts studios and music rehearsal spaces, expansive athletic facilities and competition fields, outdoor gathering areas and shaded courtyards for reflection and fellowship. From our youngest learners to our graduating seniors, students thrive in an environment that fosters collaboration, creativity, and connection.

CCS classrooms are equipped for hands-on learning and exploration.
Highlights include: seven fully equipped science labs with flexible workstations, innovation and robotics spaces that encourage critical thinking, STEM-integrated classrooms where students apply real-world problem-solving, and a library and media center offering digital and print resources for research. Each space supports active learning and student engagement — helping learners discover how faith and knowledge connect.

The arts are central to life at CCS. Our Fine Arts Center provides students with opportunities to create and perform in professional-quality environments: art studios for painting, ceramics, and digital design, music classrooms, choral spaces, and practice rooms, a 550-seat auditorium for concerts, theatre performances, and chapels, and exhibition areas that showcase student work. These spaces inspire creativity and give students the confidence to use their gifts for God’s glory.

Beyond the classroom, students gather in welcoming spaces that nurture relationships and community: student Commons for connection and collaboration, outdoor courtyards surrounded by mature trees and mountain views, dining hall and café areas designed for fellowship, and study nooks and group spaces for project work or quiet reflection.These areas create a sense of belonging and make CCS feel like home.

The Learning Commons at Chattanooga Christian School provides a welcoming space where Upper School students can study independently or work together on projects. Here, students can print assignments, check out books or Chromebooks, and receive personalized research and writing guidance at The Writing Center — all within a relaxed, community-focused environment designed to encourage curiosity and academic excellence.

Our third gymnasium serves a dual purpose as the Upper School lunchroom, where students gather daily to enjoy fresh, nutritious meals prepared by SAGE Dining Services. This dynamic space not only fosters connection and community during lunchtime but also transforms into a practice facility that supports our athletic teams and school events.

The Robotics Program at Chattanooga Christian School uses the Outdoor Classroom as a creative workspace where students develop real-world skills in engineering, computer science, and project management. Through collaboration, problem-solving, and competition in the global VEX Robotics program, students learn to lead, communicate, and innovate with excellence.

The 5,000+ sq. ft. Industrial Arts Workshop at Chattanooga Christian School offers students hands-on experience in woodworking and design. From introductory to advanced courses, students learn proper tool use, safe build practices, and the value of craftsmanship through purposeful, project-based learning.

The Outdoor Pavilion at Chattanooga Christian School offers a versatile space for student lunches, fellowship, and school-wide events. Outfitted with picnic tables, fans, heaters, gas fireplaces, and large flat-screen TVs, it’s a comfortable year-round setting for building relationships and celebrating together.

At Chattanooga Christian School, students explore the visual arts in three art studios, including a fully equipped ceramics studio featuring 17 pottery wheels, two industrial-sized kilns, and professional-grade tools. This space gives students the opportunity to develop their craft and create beautiful, market-ready pottery through hands-on, creative expression.

The Lower School Library at Chattanooga Christian School offers a bright, welcoming space filled with books, cozy reading nooks, and collaborative seating areas. Designed to spark imagination and curiosity, this inviting environment helps students develop a love for reading and learning from an early age.

The upgraded Lower School playground at Chattanooga Christian School features a dedicated Preschool play structure, EWF safety surfacing, and two large shade canopies.
