Academics
Students in the High School are taught to live as redeemed image-bearers of God, called to respond to the cultural and redemptive mandates. This goal is achieved at Chattanooga Christian School through a Christ-centered college preparatory program of academic excellence, as well as sports, activities, weekly chapels, spiritual renewal, and community service. CCS offers a comprehensive curriculum integrating faith and learning within a wide range of courses in English, mathematics, history, foreign language, science, communications, fine arts, vocational arts, and Biblical studies. CCS endeavors to challenge students academically in Honors and Advanced Placement courses as well as offer enrichment through an Academic Assistance program. Prerequisites must be met before placement in an Honors or Advancement Placement course is approved.
As this chart demonstrates, Chattanooga Christian School students consistently outperform others in the state in the area of college prep core courses.
