Directions
Baylor: Take Hwy 27 (Corridor "J") to the Signal mountain exit and head towards signal mountain. Go past the front entrance about 1/4 mile and turn onto a gravel access road just past an old gas station. (Pure Gas station?) As you come past the softball fields on the right, there is a grassy field in which to park. The field where the races begin is about 200 yards past the barricade. Turn left at the asphalt road on the left and follow this to the area where the races end.
Chickamauga Dam: Take I-75 to Hwy 153. Go north and exit at Amnicola Hwy. Turn right at the top of the ramp. At "T" turn left park in the parking lot on left.
Fletcher Park: From I-75 exit 25 (correction from previous errors). Turn Left go east 100 yards to the first light, turn right on Georgetown Rd. Follow Georgetown Rd till you reach Harrison Pike. Turn right on Harrison Pike. Turn right on Old Harrison Pike and continue strait onto Tennessee Nursery Rd. The park will be on your left, but parking will be on the right behind the highway department buildings.
Greenway Farm: Take Hwy. 153 north of the dam and turn right at the 2nd light at Hamill Rd. Go about a mile and a half turn into the Greenway parking lot on the right just after the bridge.
Oakville Indian Mounds (Jesse Owens Invitational): Take I-24 West toward Nashville, exit at Highway 72 at the Kimball exit and go west towards Huntsville. Stay on the highway in Huntsville as it becomes Interstate 565 and continue to Interstate 65 and drive South on I-65. Go South 12 miles to Highway 36 (exit 328). Go west (through the town of Hartselle) and continue on for about 15-16 miles. Bear to the right at Highway 157 in Speake, AL. Look for signs for the Jesse Owens Invitational Race on the right, but if you do not find them, continue on 157 no more than 2 miles and turn right on county road 187. You will see enough busses to keep you from missing the course. The course is located at the Oakville Indian Mounds in Speake, Alabama. (plan on 3-4 hour drive)
Percy Warner Park: Take I-24 North to Nashville. Get off I-24 at the Bell Rd. (Exit 60). Exit near the Hickory Hollow mall. Turn left on Bell Rd. and drive 15 miles straight. You will cross over I-65 about half way to the park. Percy Warner Park will be on the right just past the Harpeth Hills golf course.
River Park: From Downtown take Riverfront Parkway towards the Dam. The road becomes Amnicola Hwy. Park is on the left just past the Chemical plant. From I-75 or HWY 27 take Hwy. 153 to the Amnicola exit just south of the Chickamauga Dam. Take Amnicola Hwy. 1.5 miles just past Chattanooga State College and Olan Mills. Entrance is on the right. Please enter the park from the North End near Olan Mills. If Parking is full, you will be directed to park in the overflow parking lot across the railroad tracks near the highway.
Woodland Park Baptist Church Property: From I-75 take 153 and exit right on Shallowford Rd. After the post office you will travel through a light where you will move to the left anticipating a turn. As Shallowford Rd. begins bending to the right you will turn left onto Standifer Gap Rd. Follow the winding road till you come to the first entrance for the church on your left. Park behind the Church.
