ADMISSION AGENDA – 2013-2014

Grades Kindergarten – 12th

Admission to Chattanooga Christian School is taken on a “first come, first served” basis since classroom space is limited. We accept students until each grade level is filled to capacity.

Priority for admission is based solely on the date that the application process is completed. This process includes submission of

application, receiving all supporting documents as well as the completion of parent and student interviews.

Once a file is complete, it is sent to the Admission Committee for a decision which takes approximately 7 work days

(September - March).

Upon receipt of acceptance letter, applicants have a 2 week deadline to accept our offer.

September 1, 2012 Begin taking 2013-14 applications for prospective students

February 1, 2013 Re-enrollment letters emailed to returning students

February 15, 2013 Deadline for re-enrollment of returning students

School Tours: Given weekdays 8:30 a.m.- 2 p.m. Call the Admission Office to schedule.

Admission Open House: Tuesday, October 30, 2012, 7 p.m., in the Fine Arts Gallery

Preview Days for the Upper School (Grades 6-12): November 7, 2012 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Kindergarten Play Day: Friday, April 19, 2013 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. This day is for accepted kindergarten students.

FINANCIAL AID DEADLINE

January 1, 2013 - March 15, 2013 Apply for Financial Aid

CCS financial aid policy awards aid first to current families receiving aid and who continue to need assistance, then to other families with children attending CCS needing aid, then to new applicants.
